But wow it wasn’t easy, think someone has been in before as one clip was missing on the hinge. I couldn’t get that second fan housing trim off either but managed to feed the cable through. All done and working, touch wood! Thanks for doing this video!

@@danielborges3629 hi, sorry, I’ve been busy with work. If you have the connections in your armrest then yes this would work, it does depend on the media software installed in your car as to how much functionality you would have, these adapters will charge your phone and allow Bluetooth connectivity if you have this already. If you key in your VIN to this site it will tell you the build of your car. Hope this helps. Thanks www.mdecoder.com

Hi, sorry i don't have the car anymore, but from memory i didn't need to remove the airbag. the access point is either from the side panel or underneath the glove box. Sorry i can't help you any more than this.

Hi, sorry i don't have the car anymore. Do you mean, can the screen be split away from it's metal casing?. From memory there would be screws through the casing attaching the actual screen, if you can detach the screen from it's mounting as in my video i would be tempted to check this yourself if you're confident enough.

Hi, i dont have the car anymore sorry, but from memory the parking monitor didn't work via this fuse as it was an ignition feed, only on when the car was on. You could use a live fuse for that purpose, my only comment for this would be that it drawers from the main car battery, most dash cam's have a feature to only take what charge they need and not leave you with a flat battery! the alternative would be to fit a secondary battery just for the dash cam to run off when parked, i did this on my BMW, there is a video on this on my site. Hope that helps?

Hi Basti, sorry for the delayed response.Once your phone is connected to the car, via the adapter and cable, it will allow all calls to come through the car. You can however still use Bluetooth to connect to the car if you don't wish to plug into the media/cable adapter. The media apps (Spotify/Amazon etc) still work via Bluetooth but don't give you the full functionality that the hard wire route gives you. Hi, never had any warning lights for this, lots of other issues with the Range Rover!! but nothing from the dash cam, i've used this same method on other cars i've owned and it's never caused any fault codes etc. Hope that helps. Thanks.

Well a formula 1 driver has to be able to het out of the car in less than 2 seconds to be allowed to drive f1. A marshal needs longer to run even to where George stopped the car.

@@Rhyz-1 literally marshals at least 15-20 meters closer where the barrier splits than Russel was….

@@ilosssssshx There are strict rules as to when Marshalls are allowed to enter a racing track but they probably should've been there faster.

​@@incubrian The roll hoop on his car failed when it flipped, without the Halo his head would've been dragged along the floor killing him before he got to the tire barrier. He also literally said the halo saved his life post incident.

Hi, I have high beam assist on mine, with the new matrix lights, the dash cam works fine and doesn’t interfere with the sensors. If you’re unsure I can get you an email to send a photo of your car and they will confirm that it will work?

For people not to film potentially injured driver

Thanks for sharing, I had this car for about 5 years and it never caused any problems, maybe it was the piggy back connection I used wasn’t an issue. I’m just about to do the same fitting in my new L405 2019, I’ll wait to see if it throws up an error code. Appreciate the words of caution. Thanks 🙏

@@bradley9517 I agree the Grosjean crash was scarier but that was more from the fire that ensued, as a crash by its self this is more brutal and thank god there was no fire! Need to also give a shout out to the wheel tethers as they most likely save a life as well.

@@ilosssssshx no, Grosjeans crash was more brutal. Grosjean would've been decapitated without the halo, and he came to a sudden stop at around 56 G while Zhou came to a much slower stop than Grosjean.

@@_kurjala yeah your probably right, let be honest tho without the halo when Zhou hit the gravel he would of broke his neck at the very least, I’m just happy that we can debate these things and both drivers are still here. They really chose the right name for the “halo” tho huh?

@@bradley9517 Learn how to read. The commenter specifically mentioned it was they scariest THEY have seen LIVE. As in, they saw it as it happened. Maybe they didn't see Grosjean's crash live. Use your head.
